Why are bits missing on my photo

Hi, I am teaching myself macro photography and I took this photo of a bee landing on a lavender bush.
When viewing the photo i noticed the wings are missing as with most of the legs.
I can assure you i have not edited this photo.
Why would these not come up in the photo?
Photo had a speed of 1/4000.

The image was a jpg on the card but I had to resize it to be able to post it as it was over 4MB.
Image looks the same after resizing it.
