    Boathouse Daylesford

One winter evening at the Daylesford lake a couple of years ago.

Beautiful capture of the boat house and the light is perfect. I don't like the tree in the foreground though. While it does frame the scene to a degree I feel it detracts from the over all look of the picture.

Thanks a lot for your feedback Closei! I did considered avoiding the foreground when framing this photo and decided to include it as I have a have photos of the same subject with different perspectives.

It's a stunning shot! Lights on the boat house, reflection in the lake, and trees, all played important role into making this picture beautiful!

All good images - but agree tree in first image frames well but 'twiggy' things are distracting

I like the one with the ducks in the foreground. The patterns they make in my opinion add that little extra to the photo.. But all good shots.

I like the framing but not so much the out of focus branches. I would try to clone out the worst ones then darken the tree overall to make the fact it's slightly out of focus less of an issue.

Thanks Toddy! The out of focus was intentional as the branches were not an interesting foreground.
