    Parramatta River sunset

A fairly average sunset last night in the end but you can only work with what you've got I guess.

Yes, sunsets can be unpredictable but I like your composition.

That's exactly the way it should be Toddy, as enthusiastic photographers we should all be challenged by the ordinary in changing it to the extraordinary. ( Alan Nichol's post script)
Anyone can make a brilliant sunset look good as the great maker put it there for us to admire.. it's the less colorful which makes us work a bit harder on composition and timing.

In this case the sky is fine, but maybe it could have been taken from a better position with some fill lighting in the foreground. I wasn't there and don't know what was to the left of shot.. so take that with a grain of salt.

    Re: Parramatta River sunset

    Thanks Greg.
To the left was a floating jetty/pontoon. No good to put a tripod on and no good to include in a 15 second exposure unfortunately. I would have liked something more in the foreground too. I was set up right on the edge of the last hard mounted section of the jetty.
