    I sort of prefer the less clutter in the first one

    Just for ideas to how I see it . Never be afraid to crop the file to suit the subject as not all subjects are not made to perfectly fit every camera sensor I often consider cropping before taking the photo

    I too like the 1st shot best. The sky is better in the 2nd and 3rd and of those I prefer the composition of the 3rd shot. I really like the 1st shot better as far as the scene goes. Ian's crop and light touches step it up a notch further again.
