    Thanks Mav, the A7R2 allows quite dramatic crops without loss of detail. Saves buying longer lenses!

    The bird looks great.Nice feather detail. Pity the perch runs through it's body. Also the angle is a bit steep.

    They choose where they sit and it's not too steep for the bird.

    Go for it if you feels it's needed.. I won't necessarily agree as I believe wildlife shots are best shown in their natural environment rather than any sort of preconceived pose. That's not my way and never will be. Happy to discuss.
