    CPL filter

    Kenko, Marumi or something else?

Kenko has Pro, and also ZX version... worth the extra?

Hoya ; been using them for years and the last one is a real ebay cheapie but works great -- I might even pension off the old thick 62mm and get another cheapie . Not so many tears when I lose it --- like the day I dropped a hasselblad filter into a creek

    Re: CPL filter

ok, bought a kenko zx cpl. It wasn't the dearest, maybe second or third...so I'm either a victim of slick marketing, or going to be reasonably happy with it. That will have to do for camera bits and pieces for a while...it might be more than my life is worth to get anything else for a bit.

I believe flashes will work across brands in manual mode, and I haven't yet found a lens converter that says it will work with af across my lenses. So a bit of time to research will be good, and if I end having to get just a manual converter, then I can live with that. For now. haha.
