    What the hell is this????

Had an ND filter on my sigma 10-20 for the last week, took it off to re-attach the MC UV filter that is normally always on for protection....and noticed these spots! They are not on the outside glass - is this fungus or something? How can l remove it???

does it effect your photos -- best way to test is set f16+ and take a photo of the blue sky
remember that will also show up dust on the sensor

My feeling is dust -- some zooms are great dust pumps

Likely not worth removing --- I don't think it's fungus [unless they grow]

if it does not effect your photos just forget about it

What spots? I see a lot of light reflections but maybe the phone screen isn't showing me something. Care to circle some?

I only see the light reflections as well.

Every lens has multiple lens elements (some zooms up to 16 or more elements!). I guess you are seeing the light reflecting off some of the elements located within the lens itself.
Are these spots purple, green, orange or yellow??
This is a common sign that it is reflections off the multi coating of the lens elements.
Purple and green are common for multi coating. Yellow and orange common for single coated.
If you get a white reflection, then it will be off a non-coated element.
