    Storm and Tempest

Taken looking out over the southern end of Nobbys Beach Newcastle. Under all that are the remains of a convict era soldiers baths. Critique/comments welcome.

    Re: Storm and Tempest

I like the idea and it certainly give the stormy impression. IMO it would be better with half as much sky and a bit of a lift in brightness.. but that's just my preference.
    Cheers.

Tend to agree with closei - if you cropped around 1/3 off the top high leaving about 1/3 sky it would look great as a wide landscape/seascape.

I really love the moody look - almost a painterly effect... reminds me of some Turner paintings.

    Cheers.

    Re: Storm and Tempest

Thanks for comments all. I did try cropping as you suggested but I found I liked it as it is. Always open to suggestions I haven't been doing this all that long. Have a lot to learn.
