    Not really. Steam engines are pretty quiet. Metal wheeled traction engines are noisy on a sealed road but most now have been converted for road use with some type of rubber retreads on the wheels.

    Thanks, took quite a few shots but many of them had a blurred person passing between the camera and subject. Hard to get a decent result in a crowd.. the delete button did quite well!
