I like the golden tones on the water in the top one. Maybe a crop and clone here or there might improve the composition somewhat.

Got to love the shot of the 'Jesus bird' walking on water!

Hi, I initially started out to photograph a waterfall near Kings Park but the council had shut it off. I then decided to go up to Kings Park and take something from the Tree Top Walk but that was closed as well lol.

I then decided to stop off at Lake Monger on the way home and got some amazing light on the water.

I know what cropping is but "clone"?

And yes that bird is biblical lol.

Cloning is using an editing program to copy other parts of an image to either place over an unwanted part (remove) or add in a section to improve the composition. eg. remove a power pole or bird which is in a position which doesn’t help the overall look. Can also be used in adding extra space to the sides of an image.

OK. So do you need Photoshop?

Photoshop is what I use but I only have an older version of it CS3, but it does do just about all I need in editing.

OK, thanks for that. Still haven't got my monitor as yet so will have a look at Photoshop once I get that.

Here's a quick example of where I've re-positioned one of the birds and cropped to improve (in my opinion) the overall composition of the image.

Having the bird in the centre does improve the flow of the photo. I debated whether to crop out the reeds but decided to leave them in to make it seem more natural sort of lol. Thanks for the feedback and the advise
