    Filter and lens cleaner recommendations?

Hi all, I'm looking for recommendations on lens and filter cleaning kits. I currently have a very basic Fotar Lens Cleaning Kit, which comes with some sort of liquid (isopropyl alcohol??) some cotton tips, a cleaning cloth and some tissue-type paper. It seems to do an ok job but the kit is almost used up. So I'm looking for something that will clean both lenses and filters (including ND filters). Also I'm after a good microfibre cloth for quick maintenance cleans.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated! Thank you!!

I find Clearwipes excellent for both my glasses and camera lenses. They come in boxes of 40 and I get them from 'Terry White chemists' but I expect that others would have them too.

Very easy to throw a few into the camera bag or keep a few in your wallet.

Isopropyl alcohol is the best lens cleaner followed by Shellite.
Water based ones don't work as well as the two above.

Use either a chamois or lens tissue (the tissue type paper you have), as they will not scratch the lens.

Get a blower to blow the larger bits of dirt away first before you start cleaning.

And grab a top quality micro fiber cloth, they are one of the handiest things to have.

Those items should have you covered for almost any lens marks you encounter.
