Thought some might not like the rubbish on the ramp. At least it's not plastic!

Like the shot but that large piece of rubbish definitely draws your eye. What was the foreground lit by?

Must confess that I didn't make much of an effort with this one and it shows. I had been taking photos of the aurora in the opposite direction and as that fizzled out after about 2.30 am, I just swung the camera around on the tripod and this was the view almost entirely lit by full moon.

I could have made a much better shot by moving to the other side of the ramp closer to the wattle tree but I was too tired and was ready to go back to bed! I did a quick wave over the foreground with my torch but its effect was minimal.

It's hard to tell how somethings going to come out at night when you use a 30 second shutter speed.

Well you did well enough anyway. Gotta get the points just for being awake so long. That's about 5 hours after my bed time

It's well after mine as well. Could have got better aurora shots had I went out at 10 pm! Got a couple of keepers.

Neglecting other stuff, I would just say that I loved the water, sky and the lights part extremely. Great!
