    Birds in flight photography

    Hey ladies and gents,

I'm new here and would love to become a part of the community to learn, i went out with a friend to take pictures of her macaw, after reading about 6-7 pages of tutorials and theory on taking pictures of birds i would love some feedback.

I think you've done quite well with this one given that you're a beginner. The specialist bird photographers would say clipping the wings off the lhs and having the head/eyes in shadow would detract but you've definitely caught the bird displaying well and it's sharp.

Having a tame one to play with helps tremendously and it should give you the opportunity to practice the techniques you've read about and come back and show us all how it should be done.
