    Blacksmiths Shorebreak

Took these yesterday using a Nikon D3300 (f6.8, 1/800s) in a custom water housing. I have had a few goes... mostly fails.... but got a few on Saturday. The wave height was around 2/3 feet. I have no idea how the pros do it at 10ft plus.

    Comments/critique welcome.

Looks like you've done a good job of those. Be great with a surfer in there!

same comments as last time -- maybe a little more faster shutter speed (??)
just for ideas and not to be considered perfect --- LR>ON1>original --- I blow the h/lights a little

Yeah yeah I know; some will prefer the original and others will say the 1st is too much blah blah -- it's just for ideas to consider

    Re: Blacksmiths Shorebreak

You've possible shot these too late in the day.

I say this as there is a lot of shadow inside the wave, especially no. 2. To get the 'crystal cylinder' look you need light (and reflections) in the tube.
