    Horses!

Took this shot around Outer Geelong in Victoria. I've compressed it a bit, what do you think? I have to say this jpeg looks a bit muted compared to the actual image.

    Re: Horses!

Nice picture. The first thing I do with a picture is asking myself: do I need to crop? Having done that I then I set the black point and the white point. Then the fun starts for bad or for worse.

I quite like that desaturated look. Is that straight out of the camera or some processing done?

I like it too! From your comment, I'm guessing the horse in the foreground really pops in the actual image?

Thanks a lot Closei, appreciate it! I've done some processing, first in Adobe camera raw for global adjustments, then to Nik software for colour stuff.

Next to the quote button on each post is a multi-quote checkbox. Select the multi quote option on each post you want to quote, before you click any one of the quote buttons. Then all the posts you have selected multiquote on will be quoted in your reply

Yeah ok. Should I try and fix that? Or leave it as such

nice , although if anything i would of moved in closer and filled the foreground with the front horse , better to do that then crop , someone once said if your photos arent looking great get closer lol

    Thanks a lot Sambur!

Yep, I have to keep that in mind next time. The shots only 12mp, probably not a good idea to crop. Plus, the focus is a tiny bit off. Cheers!

    Re: Horses!

I love the feel of this photo. Great job. Only thing for me is the steel post is a little distracting where it's positioned.
