I wish I could say it's an original idea Anton

same image with a more fiddling --- I much prefer the softness feel

was hoping for a bit more cloud/lighting wise the day before rain was forecast and ended up with pretty flat raw files; deleted most but decided to fiddle to with this one

raw oly file -- Lr5 edit -- Nik edit (haven't been there for a long time) which ended up too much -- blended the Nik file with another Pse file in Pse12 with a light blending layer

Still a bit flat but OK for a learning exercise

couldn't leave it there --- bit of orton/levels/masking/cropping in pse -- cropping did the trick imo. BTW; this file was one from a pano set

remember were it started from? Nothing was really added; all the data was there and just needed to be released so we could see it

Ian to me it would benefit from more canvas on the Lh side. If it’s part of a pano why didn’t you process it in landscape format?

^^ I do most pano sets vertical at around 60-80mm --- this is a centre file --- the others were deleted as on1 pano beta didn't do much of a job of stitching . I have backed away a bit from On1 atm ; not sure the frustrations were doing me a lot of good. There is so much to like about On1; they are so close but still a little too far away.

In addition to Closei's edit suggestions you can also use the pen tool or even the polygonal lasso to cut the bike out. I used a combination of each and then it was easy to drop in different backgrounds, even an admiring dog

^^ That's good editing --- started to do similar but run out of motivation --- just after I opened the file lol

    .
Thanks Ian. I'm an old bloke with too much time on my hands and I enjoy this sort of work
I noticed you had problems stitching your pics for a pano. If you have a Windows system, try ICE (Image Composite Editor - free from Microsoft) - it's brilliant!

I do have ICE --- yep; does a great job alright. I was testing On1 2018 beta which has HDR and Pano stitching -- sort of stepped away from On1 for awhile. it's a case of so close yet too far away for me. Will have another look at Luminar [windows naturally]
