would need a long lens to narrow down the distracting b/ground; had to crop it a lot to get it as it is

The Maccas motor bike is a beauty and my next favourite is the light coming through the window. Not sure about the shadow of the bloke in shorts on the fence though

Oly know how to make optics alright. The 12-40 2.8 isn't surpassed by any zoom as far as I know. Certainly not the Nikon 24-70.

Got a few Olympus lenses with my OM1 that don't get any further use. I hear that you can get an adapter.

OM1; thats a blast from the past. There seem to be OLY adaptors for most lenses

Sure can and the adapters are cheap. My last trip to Melbourne was with the Oly 50 1.4 and 100 2.8. The shot that showed the 'Bogan' artists was with the 100. I've used them with the Oly, Fuji, and Nex but they are at home on the A7 at their natural F/L.
This one I posted in another thread was with the 50 1.4 at f2 from memory and the 100 2.8 is nice and sharp wide open. Worth the 15 or 20 bucks from China to see how you like your old lenses

Yeah; bugga off! I could see the pigeon saying that. Might be politer than me and said more like : Thank you; this is my aerial you stupid squawking insect chasing idiots

I really missed the best of this one as 2 peewees arrived to the displeasure of the pigeon

around 100% cropped Lumix FZ200 files. The last 2 were cropped in camera

hard camera to beat for versatility; straight after taking the above I did these

cropped because I could. It was also getting too breezy to get in closer, or to use the close up lens
