Exclamation Need help to find owner of found camera.

Hello to all!

Few weeks ago I bought digital camera on Internet auction. When it came by post I found memory card inside (Camera was sold without) which is containing more than 1100 pictures taken over North Africa, West Asia and Europe.
Camera was probably lost or stolen in Krakow, Poland during short stay in this city in end of September 2008.
I made announcement at CameraFound:
http://www.camerafound.com/found/can...and-t2193.html

Now I'm looking for somebody who:
-know people from pictures
-was in Egypt, Turkey (Istanbul, Gallipoli) , Greece, Swiss, Germany, UK (London), Czech (Prague), Wien, Bucarest, Slovakia, and finally Poland during September 2008
-organize travel tours to ANZAC Cove in Gallipoli and sightseeing over all Europe from Australia

I guess that girl which lost this camera lives in Australia because photo with australian flag close to ANZAC memorial in Turkey. On one picture I'm trying to read name of girl (label attached to her bag) - its probably Cox Miller

I look forward for any help or suggestions.
Best regards,
gephard

Suggest you type the name into Google and do a search. Never know, she may have a profile somewhere.

You'd find me easy enough if you did that.

Good on you for being so honest.
Can it be tracked through the manufacturer by the Model & Serial No. to the retailer and then the owner?

Re: Need help to find owner of found camera.

I found a Sabrina Cox-Miller on Facebook.
Does the 'Cox Miller' label look like it could be the owners name?

OK, so it is not Sabrina Cox-Miller as found on Facebook.
Was worth a try, but she has never left Nashville...

There are three photos with name:
- Player list from snooker play
- picture from airport with tickets in hands
- picture of girl with label on the bag

I will try publish them.
There in no Cox on the list - maybe I'm wrong. But I'm sure that name on the boarding ticket is Miller

I think only if owner register his camera after buy. I do not know anybody who fill registration form.

If You feel lucky You can try:
Camera make: Canon
Model Digital IXUS 970 IS
SN: 6573100237

Gephard

Re: Need help to find owner of found camera.

I have passed the above details off to my contact within Canon Australia. Maybe they can help.
