Hey all, Been away for a while, work commitments had me traveling all over WA. In the time i was home, My wife and I managed to do a rather rushed wedding for a friend of the family. (When i mean rushed, they decided to give themselves 6 weeks, to plan and book the whole wedding).

Have to admit, was rather nervous for about the first hour, then we settled into it, and had a great time in the end. Having a bride and groom that are easy to get along with made it so more relaxed and comfortable for my first wedding.

heres a few pics from the day, some are mine and some are my wife's, barely any editing carried out on these. Feel free to comment

From a brides not a photographer (still learning) view only...lol I love the last one .
The third could have been a little less on a angle and showing more of the brides dress and less of the trees in the background.
Good work tho.

I second all of that and think that perhaps the first shot needs a little more light in it. The little girl has such a radiant smile and the image seems slightly underexposed.

But great photos for a first attempt.

Quite nice, and very good for your first go. But why are they all on an angle?

Unless your head is permanently stuck tilted to the left, you shouldn't take photos on an angle like this. It's a bit of a cliché that's been really overused in the past few years. Stick to shooting the right way up.

^ According to whom?

I like the angle shots. Some people do, some don't.

I take a lot of scenes in as many different ways as time allows, and let the couple decide, or ask them in the meetings before the wedding.

I agree with Andre about the tilt being overused to the point of being cliche, but in this instance I think it works well for 1,2 and 4 but not 3. (I personally have a vendetta against tilt though :D)

These are good photographs that can be made great with some TLC in Post Processing
