Nice I always loved helicopters especially the Chinook!

I might buy a model one day 1:1 scale and fly it since dad is into planes, I am hoping to go out to the air field one day haha.

Model helicopters are NOT easy to fly.

After viewing your shots of the Pig (F1-11), I now know where the standard is set, and am aiming to achieve it.

They are a nice piece of kit, and worth a couple of $ more than a CH47, according to the maintainers.

I have an irrational fear of helicopters, source unknown. The first shot gave me the creeps. That's a mean-looking shot.

Mate, they are as safe as the dudes steering them.

My fear is not of flying in one, or anything like that. In fact I wish.... It's almost a phobia. I was on Rottnest Island (WA) one time and a Chinook came flying over quite low, and I was quite freaked out. I wanted to hide. There were guys sitting with their legs dangling over the back sill, so they obviously felt safe enough! :0
