Well every Saturday night I take photo's for a night club basically of people & live bands that play there, getting straight to the point last night was the very first night that I ended taking photo's because of a person who was trigger happy with the smoke machine...
I must say if they use the smoke machine more often I would probably get more great shots like these, thought I would share with everyone!
First 3 photo's taken are with my 350D and Fisheye lens.
ISO: 800
Shutter: 1/40 second
F Number: F/3.5-4.5

Great shots again Byron.
Really like the last shot in your first post. Lets you know how fast he's playing with his blurred hand. Great!

I am finding these type of photo's are currently my strong point I do have other area's of interest which I am still exploring and need lots more practice with I still think I can make these images sharper though maybe It's my settings or maybe It's just the lens I'm using ... I don't know!
Just imagine this all started because of my first camera - Canon Digital IXUS 500

Question.
These guys want a CD now of all the high quality pictures I took from the night of there set, currently I provide 1 photo of each band member for free as the night club pays me.
What sort of rate should I charge the band? Keep in mind half the bands that do come through this joint aren't very big and out there for self promotion.
I was thinking around $50.... reckon I'm under selling myself or should I go $100?

Hmmm tough one. I'm the last person who could help you on that one...
but I would say if you think $50 to $100 would be good for your time and effort, then quote that and see what they think about it. Maybe negotiate a price that your happy with.
Good luck with it all.

It's always better to start out with more and then you can come down. If you say $50, and they then say "Oh wow! That cheap" -- You'll be kicking yourself, 'cause you can't exactly say.. "Oh well, what I MEANT... was $1000."
