I love using the actions and brushes in ps you can get some really good effects. The first 2 pics I printed as 8 x 10's and they look quite good, the last 1 is one I did for my son for his battle of the bands cover (he liked the grunge look :rolleyes: )

I am slowly working out PS, but it sure is a complicated program.. But I think with a lot of packages, it's limitations are only the person using it !! :)

I am an IT professional but PS still in a mystery to me. I have decided to do a course and learn how to do it properly. Of course, I am using elements at the moment and want CS2 .. but it's a lot of money for a hobby.

Totally agree with you about PS...

As for actions, I haev used them, but am still working out the finer points. WHEN they work properly they are great, but they can be a pain and i have other programs that are easier to use and do the job much quicker, especilly batch resizing etc.
