There's a Carnival of Flowers! And what the hell is the red hat society?
Good shots there mate, and no lack of colour there for you.

Yep, Carnival of Flowers is Toowoomba's second biggest event apart from Gospel Music Festival (or Easter Fest as it is now "rebranded"). Red Hat Society is a bunch of women who wear red hats :)

The only thing I didn't mention is that I used a CP filter for all shots.

Talk about bursting with colour! Great series of pics and it is a great event! Did you try a a few close up flower shots Q97? Wish I had of got up there, my own garden was starved for the attention lol.

Well, yes, that was the intention. Unfortunately the flower shot was basically the last as I ran out of battery! I didn't put it on the charger the night before - and it was last charged about 2 weeks prior, and I used it quite a bit in that time...d'oh!

Might head up into the gardens tomorrow and see if I can still get some decent shots.

Have had that happen before! Still plenty around to shoot though and now is the time, look forward to seeing more photos.
