Arguably better than some stuff hanging in Chicago's Museum of Modern Art.

Ever since graffitti came to my attention whislt I was living in Adealide I have seen marvellous works of art in that medium. I intended photographing each lot I saw them to keep them as a record of my enjoyment of them. The council alwys got to deface them before I got my film and camera and got back to them. It would have been wonderful to have had a digdital at that time. Seeing this one makes me remember all those lost opportunities. here I see it composed as a lovely photo as well as a record of artists work. My artists soul rejoices.

the same thing happened to me at the skateboard park last week.
I arrived just as a council workman was rollering over them with opaque grey paint -
luckily there were still some left. Some consolation in being unable to see what I had missed.

These all look great, what works of art. Its a shame these kids can't channel their art into something more permanent, where their work is more appreciated and it doesn't get painted over time and time again. I guess they get a blank canvas don't they, and I guess that is all part of the message.

the sour grapes element who, envious of their creativity, daub it with logos or obscenities.

I admire the talent that resides in these unsung heroes.
