Well this is a big first for me on a lot of fronts, so here goes nothing!
Only just found this site last week and thought what the hell, why don't I have a go at this forum stuff. (never done this before). I've had my camera a Nikon D80 nearly 2 years with a 18-200mm lens, a super wide angle 12-24mm lens and a borrowed 70-300mm lens. I've had one course so far and am still learning or trying to. I think I have more deletes than keeps at this stage, but I do have fun, when I have time to play. Just had some fun with my daughters deb - got a few good ones I think. I will try and post some pictures of different things I like when I figure out how to. Anyway just wanted to say hi all.
Keep snapping!

Hi gtjs,

Welcome to APF, you’ll find there’s lots of friendly folk here and before long you’ll get totally hooked. You’ve taken your first 2 big steps by signing up and posting an intro. Now it’s time to find something you like and post it up for us to see and give advice on.

Hi GTJS,

Welcome to the forum from another newby also. Hope you enjoy the friendly atmosphere that I've experienced so far and keep on working at it.

Plenty of knowledge to gain from being on here. Look forward to seeing some you work sometime.

Check out my gallery sometime if you wish at the link below, or look me up on here for a taste of how I shoot.

Hi GTJS! I always keep my deletes so I can go back and see how much I've improved if at all :)

Thanks everyone for welcoming me,
I'm gradually working my way around the site and figuring how to do things.
All the photos are really great and have even managed to put a photo in the latest challenge more as a test run than anything. Good luck to everyone who has posted an entry.
Cheers.
Trace.
