I don't know how you did it, but it's well done :) The only thing I can say is the light seems to be coming from your little fairy, which is behind the mushrooms. But there is a mushroom shadow behind the mushrooms too. Seems a little out of place.

Good point Daz. My theory behind the mushroom shadow was that there is light shining on the front of the mushroom as well, so it needed to cast a shadow onto my fairy.

Ah, ya see, Daz40D, there are two light sources.

Yes, the beautiful little fairy has light streaming from her ethereal wings which illuminates the immediate scene.

The main light comes from the full moon, under which she frolics among the mushrooms. hence the moon shadow.

You'll see that where the light from the fairy's glow reaches the moon shadow, near the top of the mushroom's shadow, that the shadow is broken down.

Beautiful lighting, beautiful little girl.

Ahhh you saw what wasn't there, well done Laurie :) Can't take credit for the beautiful little girl, except the photographing of her. She is the daughter of a girl I know (I say girl intentionally), but is she a real cutie in real life.

I had another look at this Mel and the second one is growing on me. It may be the contrast and colour and extra detail in the background, hard to pick between them.

Hehehe I am torn too! Sent them to the friend who lives with this little girl and asked her to show the grandmother both of them (I was at their place when I took the original photo) so the grandmother could pick which one she likes best so I can get it blown up for her. Still haven't heard back.....
