Taken before sunrise at Brissy on my return to Tassie from Darwin.
What else does one do with an hour to kill? :)http://www.photo.net.au/members/d/2272-2/brisbane-airport-7.jpg
Great Sky Muriel, I had 3 hours at Hong Kong Airport Last Night and didnt get around to taking any of the Tarmac but it's one of the largest airports in the world you have to take a train to different gates. Here's an interior shot of the airport. (I dont think this is a scheduled flight :)

I can't see the photo! :-(. I don't remember the inside of the airport at Hong Kong but I clearly remember coming in to land! I had just begun flying lessons when we came in over the sea to the runway in the sea and was most impressed and a little anxious! I look forwards to be able to see your photo.
Do you travel that way very much? Have you taken many photos in Hong Kong?

These were taken at Western Junction of a friend departing.

I wonder whether these shots will be the next to go in the security crackdown that seems to be happening. We went through customs in the UK once and a young guy was there with 3 friends and he had a little handy cam out, they were obviously on their way home capturing the last few minutes of their journey. Security were all over them within seconds. Fortunately for the digital world he didn't loose all his recording, just the part that was taken in the high security areas.
Murielle, I must have had to chase children the day I saw this shot, as I love the sky in your photo and would normally have commented. The start of a new day. I love early morning flights, when you rise into the air and the sun is rising.
Mark, yours are like a part of your friend's journey.
Mike - thank goodness for technology.

It is so good to see somehting that inspires me and to share it with you and have you enjoy it with me. It makes me feel part of a loving family.
The security bsuiness is surely a ploy to make us so scared we will willingly become slaves and prisnoners in order to stay safe! I thought safety was in being helpful freindly and not attacking others. I am sure it will be found to be the only way.

they are very clear shots of the virgin, Mark. Was there anything between you and the subject but the air? How did you do that? I had to take the one in Brissy through the window.

YOu have manged to get the aircraft in complete detail and have caught it so clearly despite taking it against the windows above. Thankyou for sharing it with me. My favourite occupation in life is flying. I once had a 10th share in a tiger moth. The nine men guarded it so paranoically that I didn't fly it as often as I would have liked and then one of THEM crashed it!:)

These were taken at Launceston's Western Junction before the security crackdown.
