oooh - thank you for my messages
i would class myself and more creative than technology savy... my equipment consists of my trusty canon 20D (which incidentally error 99-ed me on the weekend at a wedding). I generally like wide lenses - have only been able to afford a 17-28 so far, and i love fast lenses so i stick on the fixed 1.8 50m every now and then to shoot wedding details.
so - i am here to learn lots of technical things as i'm quite clueless.
re images - always updating the facebook link that i mentioned - until i work out what to do here... plus have a 16 month old tearing the house apart so not much spare time these days
please look at pics and let me know what you think. am uploading weekend work asap :)

I have had a quick squizzy at some of your pics on facebook... you definitely have the eye, it just needs fine tuning (but seriously who doesn't need some fine tuning???). This forum will be a great place for you to learn, not only about taking photos but about editing them as well.

Your photos are beautiful... welcome to the board :)

heya welcom, just one thing i noticed about facebook pictures is they suck! not yours, what facebook does to them, i noticed that facebook made my black and whites look bland and washed out, and automatically resized my pics which just didnt work,I now use flickr for all my pics.

Probably not a word we should use but yes, image quality can be lost. Welcome to the forum Michelle, here is a link to upload pics to this site.
