The Sapphire Coast is the south eastern corner of NSW, so I photograph around the coast, farm land and bush, handy to home.

Sometimes get down to Croajingolong NP in East Gippsland, and frequently travel to the Monaro with occasional trips to Kosciuszko NP.

My most recent outback trip to the country between Woomera, Poxby Downs and Lake Torrens was during last Autumn. I'm particularly keen to get feedback on my arid region images.

I found this website through a Google search which turned up the title of a displayed image (John McDouall Stuart). The quality of work and the discussions impresses me so I've joined up. Looking forward to worthwhile interaction. :)

Welcome Laurie. Nice part of the country the south east. As you say, an excellent variety of topography within reasonably short travelling distances.

Looking forward to seeing some of your images on the forum. :)

Thanks for the welcome, people.

I'll certainly put up a few photos shortly, but first I must comment on the John McDouall Stuart statue photo, in particular the flag.
