George Jones in concert

some might know this guy and some may not, hes an American country music legend who was married to Tammy waynette,i went to see him on wed night, this is my first attempt at stage photography, so hope you like them, these are straight from the camera just resized and framed, oh and just to add this guy is 72yrs old, and he did a 2 and a 1/2 hour set,and still sounded like he did in his early years

No idea who he is, but the photos are great. :)

Can I ask for some more detail like what lens you were using and how far away from the subject? I guess what I'm wondering is, did you take these from some seat 50 rows back, or were you able to get up and move closer to the stage?

Hi darvid i was using a canon 400D with a 55-250mm 1:4-5.6 IS Lens i had a free run of the concert hall so i went more or less where i wanted, the whole stage shots were taken from the very back of the hall and at height with the lens at full zoom the very last shot i was right under his nose with the lens at 55mm, the iso was 1600 on all shots dial set to TV 1/25 and no flash, glad you liked them, thanks for your kind comments and question.....Phil:)
