Wazzup everyone!?

I just joined up so thought I should say hello. I am looking forward to meeting you all and learning as much as I can. I am brand new to proper photography, having only used the point-and-shoot digitals up until 2 weeks ago. I just lashed out on some appropriate equipment.

My toys are 40D with Canon 10-22, 17-85, 100 macro & 70-300 lenses, plus a 430EX flash as well as all the other toys that goes with it like tripod and batteries and cables. I'm scared to add it all up :eek:

I like motorsport photography, as well as birds, and that macro caper looks like fun too. Not to mention shooting my month old son! Theres a few things I still think I need, but will discuss in the appropriate forum.

Thanks shaddsi, looks like a pretty cool site. In regards to the gear I guess that lot should cover the bases :D Except I don't think the 70-300 is long enough, I tried it on some birds this morning, and couldn't get close enough :mad: Today's job is to suss out teleconverters... :rolleyes:
