I'm no wedding photographer but they look good to me, except for the vignette.

Weddings are not for the faint hearted and I think you did well, with no 2 it looks as though the Bride has just pushed her face forward and is not returning the kiss,no 1 is very good indeed,I disagree with stu about the vignette they can make a shot special. Wally

Hi Wally, while I agree that in the right place a vignette can enhance a shot, in this case, for me anyway, they are very much overdone.
They make the shots look dated and, for my taste, they'd be better without.

im with stu on these , the shots are great on their own, the vignetting distracts the eye from the subject

I really like the first one in particular. Lovely pose and conversion.
You almost get away with the vignette in the first but the second is too much for my taste. Although some still like the effect i prefer a more subtle approach

:eek:Shouted down from the Northern Hemisphere! stu I meant no critisism of your opinion at all and if it read that way it wasn`t intended, simply I think the vignettes are ok and suit the images.Wally

It just goes to show that everyone has different tastes.. what appeals to one person does nothing for the next... now if only we could only all get clients that had exactly the same taste as us to book us for their weddings etc..

Personally I feel the poses are good but vignettes are terribly overdone.. but thats just me... :)
