I agree, not a great shot – more the novelty factor.
It was taken in the “Old Town” market in Chongquin. I don’t think I would like to be there right now with the earthquake they just had.

It's definitely a unique photo, D, gotta love it for the novelty factor. :D
I love a feed of crab, but I'm not sure I could cope with them battered, shell and all. :eek:

OMG it looks like they battered and fried them while they were still alive! Hmmm I love my crab, but battered in the shell, no thanks! Now I am not so hungry LOL

Sorting dinner from breakfast eh?
Actually I tried snails and frog legs back in Paris a few years back. Snails were a bit so so, frog legs were better, tasted a bit like chicken, but with small bones.
We quite often would try a local dish in the country we visited.
Hey Mike, when you were in China did you try the fried prawns, also in the shell? Nice and crunchy!!!
