Here are a couple of Thailand and the colours when we visited the Islands around Phuket. Sadly the coral beneath the water in the first photo is smashed to pieces by Tsunami although it is hard to see in the images, we dived and it was very sad site. The Long boats in the second photo are extremely noisy and ok for a short trip but I don't think I would like to cross and ocean in one! The last photo is a fishing village built over the water. It was hit hard by Tsunami but now well and truly thriving again!

Not too sure about the first and third photos, but the second one looks like something you would see in a travel brochure. Well spotted and photographed.

Thanks Darvidanoar, the other two are the view from the longboats, well worth a visit. If I saw the three in a travel brochure, I would go there. Thanks.

The second one is lovely!
Jules
that's "long tail" boats, due to the 3 metres or so of driveshaft.
What are these islands names (I plan to visit soon) ?

Thats right Finn, they did call them "Long Tails" thanks for that. My advice, only do a short trip in one!! The photos are from Phi Phi and Panyee fishing village and and if the weather is good, do a whole day tour and or overnight stay. The need for serious polaroid lens is paramount. I never saw a blue sky there, only in the photos that I took.
Thanks Jules.
