I attended the Hobart Anzac Day March and Service. These are the first of many I took. The Light Horsemen are a particular favourite because my grandfather was one in WW1. I wore his medals.

Great shots Jules I love the last one in the second lot. The horse is giving you the eye lol. My grandfather was in the 1st Light Horse , watching them is always a special treat.

Cheers

Well done, I agree with Ozzy, the horse staring down the lens is great and they are all nicely composed.

G'Day Jules,

Who was your Grandfather?

My name is Pete Pickering and I've published a book on C Sqn 3 A.L.H.

I am the dismounted member of the Troop on ANZAC Day.

Always after more info on the Squadron.

We have already met! Me and my father visited your house to get a copy of the book. Excellent it is too.

I meant to send you photos of some of my grandfather (I. L . Dickenson) and the things of his I have. Sorry! Will do so eventually.

I'll have to post some of the photos I took of you at the march!

Thanks mate, that would be great.
G'Day Jules,

You could email them to peter.pickering@dhhs.tas.gov.au if that would be easier.

Always collecting more info. Might be another book in it.
