Hey All,

I am just asking for some how-to's with making a good signature to use in my photos, because i am shooting for my brother and club photos, and also post on DA, so i was wanting to make a neat signature that is of a handwriting type of genre!

I dont have a graphics tablet... i know that with one it would be very simple. But i am seeking alternative ways to make a quality signature without a tab.

Thanks everyone

Can you just download an appropriate font from www.dafont.com or something like that? Probably easiest way...

what you could do....
put your signature down on some white paper, scan it in and change the white background to transparent in ps or the other.
then in ps you can turn that into either just a file or a paintbrush.
i've got mine as a paintbrush then when i want it, choose the right colour and paint it on.

yeah thanks dude, this seems to be the best way to do it without a tablet, another way is to take a photo of the sig on white paper, coz i dont have a working scanner :(

i dont want to use someone elses font, and a font signature would look tacky in my opinion, if its ur work, then it should be ur signature. keep it with the tradition i say :p :p

Fair enough then. If you have the right programs, apparently you can also make your own font on the computer so YOU write down your own letters and then program them onto the computer... then voila! You've got your own font hence you can make your own signature for your photos.

If that doesn't work or it sounds too complicated (I've never done it myself but I know it can be done) Ben's suggestion sounds easy enough, probably easier haha...

Good luck!
