how weird is this...was driving home this afternoon from the tip when we noticed this bloke with his head sticking over the fence.....kids jumped out and fed him hot chips and bread (probably not the best thing for an emu :confused: ) while I snapped away......
No where near as clear as yours , just thought it was funny to see him after seeing your chappy last night ...

Zenotri, great photo, I like the way the colour on the back of the head changes, and the colour of the eye as well.


snowygal i like the second photo of the emu, looks like it's saying "Hey look at me, I'm going to be famous." Now I know birds can't smile, however it looks as if it is.

That's funny Snowygal. Yours looks much healthier than mine. You were game to feed it, they freak me out too much to get that close. I really like the 2nd one. I got a similar pic but didn't manage to capture the eyes as well as you did.

Vickie it was hillarious seriously it was, I kept saying to my eldest son to hold the chip /and or bread about an 1inch to an inch and a half from the end of the lense....through the view finder it looked as though he was going to come in and eat me LOL have alot of dodgy shots because I piked out as he was coming towards me :)

Brax he does look like he was smiling for the camera doesnt he, its almost as if I said "say cheese" LOL
