Painting With Light Technique

Hey all, just came across this tutorial using a torch for photos. Its rather intereseting, thought to share incase anyone else is intereseted. Wouldnt mind experimenting with it. Let me know your thoughts and or if you have used this technique before. Success??? Hahaha :)

I was the one waving the torch for another photographer on this shot. This is the unaltered pic. The storm is as it was happening. He took heaps of pics, some of which worked well, and some which didn't. I thought some of the images were brilliant. I've tried it since, but haven't been able to score a hit.

Pity we didn't think to pull my boots out from under the bike. I had them there to protect them from the rain.

Watch the colour temperature of the light source. TF
