Gorgeous photos, the lighting in the bottom one is very nice, Can I just ask what type of camera did you use? I am in the market for a new equipment and I'm looking for recommendations.

Thanks for the kind words ...We took our brand new Canon350D and learned to use it on the trip. It's insipred me to get a bit more into photgraphy rather than an occassional point and shoot.. and shows me just how little I know :)

The lighting in the top shot is just sufficiently glancing to provide magnificent detail, but just out of line enough to light up the shadows. Well done!
