my wife and i went away for the weekend to moonta, whichis about 160-180kms west of adelaide. on the first day we got there, i took my camera down to the jetty to get some sunset photos...these are the results.

my only concern is the 5th picture...i am wondering if it has too much foreground (the water), or if it's accepted as ok?

Some lovely shots of the Jetty with the sunset behind.

Regarding number 5 ? ... personally (and it's just me) the forground does nothing for the picture. If I scroll down and crop the bottom so that the Jetty and the colour of the sky are the main focus of the photo it works well for me :-)

I'd really like to see the last one taken again with the sun under the jetty like the one before it and a bit of fill in flash.

WOW! Some awesome shots there Kai! Well done!

I've never been to Moonta, although I've heard it's really nice there. :)

thanks carrot...you live in adelaide?

you should go there...it's only about 1 1/2 hours out of adelaide. not much to do, but some nice photos can be had.
