Very interesting photograph, the texture sure adds to the feel of the shot I would have like to seen more shape in the path of footsteps to have given it even for appeal but you have done well with what was on offer

I think the sepia and graininess give the photo an almost etherial or dreamlike quality. However, I think if the footprints had much more movement in them, they might risk looking a bit fake.

Thanks for the compliments. Nah, the person's not fake, it was my friend. It probably looks "cut in" because of excessive sharpening. ;)

That explains the grainy appearance too. He may look pasted onto the picture, but it makes the picture interesting.
