Very colourful.
3 for me as well.
Wondered where all the old trams were laid to rest.
1 and 3 for me. The one thing those shots do for me is make me angry. I may be older, but I'm not an old fuddy duddy, but for the life of me I cannot figure out why the young people today think they have the right to go out and defile other peoples property. When I was a teen in the 60's it would not even have entered our heads to go out and vandalize something that belonged to somebody else, private or government.

Hi Lloyd,
this venue will be a large block of units in a few years. The really sad thing is there is no attempt to restore or try to use it for community use. Sydney ripped up the last of the tram tracks in the early 60s & this repair facility was no longer required.
I would much rather the artwork was on the walls here than on my shopping centre walls. Some of the panels in isolation are very good & others will probably be painted over. Bright colours rule here.
The roof panels face south & allow a lot of diffuse light in. Ideal for photography. Unfortunately the maintenance has not not been kept up & would be cheaper to knock down & rebuild. At only 250m from a light rail station in one of Sydney's innermost suburbs, & a state govt policy of urban consolidation,it is most likely to be rezoned residential.

That is a shame Russ. You are right about the shopping centres though, we have that issue up here and somebody is always having to clean it off. I think successive governments that scrapped the rail to regional areas, the light rail and trams in high population urban areas, are going to one day regret their decisions. They are the obvious answer to city gridlock and the continued scrapping of them was very short sighted.

LJG,
The ex-owner of the sheds used to let people come to paint inside. It was out of the view of the general public. There used to be more buses inside also. Now someone else owns it and a lot more people have found out about the place. A lot more people paint it, and a lot of adverts are filmed inside. Along with photo shoots for fashion, etc.. Since it's become more public it's deteriorated a lot.

Hi Richard,
Thanks for the comments. I suspect that many ended up at the recyclers. There is only 6 trams & 1 bus here that I remember.

Thanks for the comments. Obviously popular with the street artists - really has some character

I did boost colour saturation.
#1 used HDR as a starting point from 1 RAW image mainly because the tram was on shadow side
#2 & 3 had contrast stretched way above normal so clipping in blacks & whites & set so that the reflections were more vivid. Saturation boosted as well.
