Howdy all
Went down to Bells Rapids to get some shots. As usual I cam away from here with very little I really struggle with this area for some reason. Anyway I took this shot of the bridge and I was not really happy with it so I decided to mess around a little in Post to see if something was workable. So here are two edit what do you think any preference or dump them all ?
#1 Original size just edited
#2 Cropped from #1
#3 orig size recoloured
The 3rd one for me Aus. I don't mind the effect in that one. It looks like and interesting place.

I'd have to go with the second one - the cropped version. The teal and cyan hues give it a very ethereal/imagined look. I especially like the planks being in parallel with the bottom of the frame.

Thanks Lloyd I was trying for something a little different as you see it is not a traditional BW image but a few tints here and there. Appreciate the comments. There is more to this place I just need to find the right lens I think. All of this day was with the 10-22. When I go out for a general shoot I take just one lens and use that. This way it challenges me to frame for that lens.

Cheers Pharaoh I am glad you noticed the planks :D it is one of my little nuances I pick up all the time so it would be ill of me not to "Practice what I preach" LOL I like this one also as it has that little bit of that is something different but still a little familiar ? Your take on it was what I wanted people to think so I am glad that worked in getting that vision across to you.

Yep, it's that fine line between vision and imagined memory...(too much anthropological analysis there)...but it's a nice shot mate!
