went on a street art siteseeing tour in the newtown area today. this is my favourite photo i took

Nice work... Have you just de-saturated to get the B&w as it appears a bit flat... I think the image has loads of potential with a bit more work in pp to punch it out a bit and I would crop to be rid of everything above the gutter line of the roof as I feel this does not add anything to the image and i would get rid of the post and bring the right side into the edge of the building. The person on the street including the gutter as you have, and graffitti make for a great image... good work!!!

yeah i just desaturated as i was following a tutorial on how to do the selective colouring. also I'm fairly new to the post production world of photography so not really sure of another way of doing it. had a look at cropping but because of the angle i'm still going to end up with a bit of roof on the right hand side. and in order to get rid of the pole/sign i'm going to lose the edge of the tag. however i could be wrong in this so i will give it a go.
