Rush hour in Brisbane CBD just after a rain shower. Trying some slower shutter speeds to give that impression of rush-hour chaos. The good thing about this little S90 compact is I feel a lot less self-conscious about thrusting it out in crowds... draws a lot less attention.:) C&C welcome

I like the idea, and the way the parallax(?sort of reverse parallax) makes the closer people more blurred. You seem to have done a pretty good job of letting people ignore you.

But you are caught. There is quite a bit of camera shake in a couple of the shots. You need to not stand out, so no tripod, but still have steadiness. 1/3 second handheld is a tough call. May be worth using a little cushion on a support, if you can get that setup. The support can be horizontal or vertical.

Thanks Nick, you're right of course, 1/3rd sec just too slow even leaning against the traffic light post. I'll try this again with 1/6th or even up to 1/10th and see if I can get away with that better. :-)

I reckon if you nail it, it will work. I really like the exposure time you used. It works. Seriously a rolled towel, tiny cusshion, or some sort of bean bag makes a huge difference. I have used it a couple of times for long exposures of clouds or sunsets etc. if I was podless

I could not take those shots. I really struggle to take pictures of people.
