Hi There.

This is my first post, I am happy to see a point and shoot section as i dont think i fit into any other category - I am saving up at the moment for my DSLR - so these are just some shots i took on my p&s the other day of my daughter...

Interested to hear your thoughts. :D

Not knowing what model your P&S is, but have a look at the manual for the fill flash setting. This helps deal with the shadows that are cast in your first photo because of the bright background.

Glad you have found a forum to post your pics - your photos would also fit into the Portrait category - just keep in mind that you will not necessarily receive any cc here (more for just sharing your images) so if it's cc you want best to use the other forums. You "can" post p&s shots in the other more specific forums if it's cc you are after...

I have to agree with robbie that last shot of your daughter is a cracker......it really makes no difference what camera you have it is how you use it that counts....I started off with a Kodak p&s and still use it even though I have a DSLR. Do you mind if I have a play with the other two???
