Hi Everyone, I took this photo on the way to school. This is the old Mersey Hospital in Steet Street. Quite a strange feeling in the air when I was shooting away, I could also here the distant sounds of bagpipes being played. It would be fantastic if you could CC / edit!!

I like the yellow version as it gives a bit of a vintage look to the photo. You could also work on some further aged effects if you thought it would add to the photo.

Not sure about the blue version though.

Cool, I like them both. Could you please post a black and white, without the warming or cooling filter applied? I think it's clever that you've used the fence to your advantage, most photographers would avoid obstacles like fences.

Thank for the comments everyone!

Hi Biggbird, Its certainly a great place to take photos of and there's plenty of holes in the fence to get in side. Although I wouldn't really recommend going inside the hospital because it packed with asbestos!! Can't wait to see how you photos turn out!!

Cheers

Hi Biggbird,

Sorry mate, I won't be able to make it, I've got a navy cadet camp on Saturday. Hopefully next time! Another place you could take photos at is the old trains and carriages further up from the don railway...
