What are peoples though on this photo? Content? Is it appropriate to publish photos like this online when the subject is unaware? This was taken in Chile.

yea what are the laws here in Australia in regard to publishing photos of people and property? and for that matter the actual taking of photos what laws are there on that?

I like this style and content of photography, it shows the real world, well at least the homeless/unfortunate side of life.
I have a series of pics along the same content too...its eye opening and a reminder for us to not take things forgranted.

If the person is readily identifiable, and you plan on using the image for commercial purposes you should have a model release... but having said that, if the image is taken in public then people have 0 (zero) rights. The only exception to this is if they are in their home or a public toilet etc and have an expectation of privacy.
