I usually post only landscapes, so I guess these go here??
...anyway these are a couple of pics of my local lighthouse in Lighthouse beach, Port Macquarie.
Gear used: canon 50D, sigma 10-20mm, B+W ND1000 :)

That movement was caught using a really heavy 10 stop ND (allows 30 sec exposure in full sunlight) :)
...whats that about "work camera"?
you gettting some cash from photos?

Ah ok, thanks for that. I've always wondered how you capture some of the great cloud movements.

I got myself a job as a sports photographer with Port News :)

I love Lighthouse, living so close and all. And I don't think you saw this Bryan but here's my favourite of the hundreds I've taken of LB over the past year:

It's a 7-stitch pano shot from the edge of an over looking cliff.

Sorry to hijack your thread, I just thought you'd like it since you seem to love Lighthouse as much as I do :D

Superb captures! I don't think I've ever been to the port LH...will make a point of it next time I'm u there.
For a moment there I was thinking it was south west rocks.

Yeah Smokey cape Lighthouse has some similar designs, and from some angles they look quite the same.
This lighthouse actually has the exact same design as a few others along NSW, such as Crowdy Head lighthouse.

god damn you guys making me feel even worse - as posted in MRA's recent thread - I cant believe I came back from 4 days there without a decent scenery photo. MRA was there having a crack at your job instead taking photos of and watching IM.

It's a great area for photography, some awesome seascapes and rainforest's.
