I think that car is at about 25 years of bad luck. It's all over.

Federico .. love your stuff as always .. and my personal opinion is that this is one of your best. However I really can't tell you why? Maybe it reminds me of the the era of "The Grapes of Wrath" where all those "Okies" all baled out of their farms and went to California. Not sure but this photo has real meaning - to me at least .. it portrays a lot of things .. sorry I can't explain it better.. but I love it!

LOL, I got a similar comment on another forum! I wasn't around when this car was hot out of the oven, so I have to assume that it was bad news.

Thank you, CowskinBodybag :)

Hey, thanks for the very kind words, Phil! This one's definitely one of my personal favourites of the year so far, but -- much like you -- I don't really know why I like it so much...

Not doing much for me Federico. Cropping (to horizontal) out the farmed area does improve it; but I feel there is a great close up image in/of the mirror

Another that really likes this shot but then I do love a bit of old car rust and your colours in this are awesome!

Thanks, Ian. I toyed with the idea of making this a squarish crop, but then decided that the dry, empty field contributed somewhat to the idea of seven years of bad luck (which is how I had envisioned this while out there shooting). I guess for some viewers this notion is a stretch, lol!

Thanks, Kate. Believe it or not, this one is almost straight out of the camera. We were there shooting for maybe an hour, and had about 10 minutes of this ridiculously beautiful light. I'm happy I made out with some nice images!
